Hello! We're Justin and Christina.

A decade ago we took our first trip abroad together, and ever since, we've been bitten by the travel bug. In 2024, we visited our 16th country as a couple, and our 12th country as a family. (Our daughter joined the adventure in 2019.)

Justin is a graphic designer and I (Christina) am a teacher.  We both still work full-time and enjoy the few weeks every year that we get to travel to a new location together. We each had our own travel experiences before we were married, and we like to fight about which countries we can scratch off on our map.

Some of our favorite trips include:

Justin may have me beat in terms of epic trips.

The summer before we met, he completed a solo, unsupported, 62-day bike ride across the U.S. from San Francisco to the Jersey shore.  Just him, a tent, and a lot of milkshakes to try to keep some weight on.

I spent that same summer living in Bar Harbor, ME and hiking in Acadia National Park.  I lived off of blueberry scones and took a lot of pictures of trees and lakes.

Justin's work has taken him to India and Spain, and I've spent more time in Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean than he has.  Together we have traveled through Western Europe and the U.K., and we hope to make our way to the other side of the world soon.  We are also avid National Park goers and our 2016 road trip took us from San Fran to Seattle and four national parks.  Our daughter has already been to Zion NP, Arches NP, Canyonlands, and Glacier NP in the US. In Canada weโ€™ve roadtripped through the Canadian Rockies and through Quebec.

OUR TRAVEL STYLE

We are equally as comfortable hiking a mountain as we are visiting a museum.  We try to balance our touristy activities with more authentic experiences. Justin hates lines (and crowds), so when we visit popular cities (Rome, Paris, Salzburg), I research skip the line passes.

Every trip we take balances time in nature with time in the city, although we prefer the former.  We avoid tours unless they will help us see an area more quickly and with greater ease than we could on our own.

We stay in B&Bs, hotels, and, if we're up for toting our tent, at campsites.  Ever since our daughter was born, we stay wherever our points will take us.

We try to take 3-4 trips a year.

In 2023, we spent:
